This is an extremely effective way to strengthen your muscles, if you do it properly and hold it for the right amount of time and the movements aren&#039;t strenuous on your back like crunchies.
1)Lay on your back arms to the side, and keep your legs together while you point your toes.  Then raise your feet and legs up about 1-2 ft from the ground, then keep lowering them and raising them in sets of ten.  never let your feet replant on the ground, only lower them to about an inch off the ground.  you can also hold them right here for a few moments before you re-raise them.

2)Lay on the ground with legs directly forward, together with toes pointed forward.  Lift your head and shoulders up off the ground, and your legs off the ground, using your **** as a fulcrom.  arms can be held out in front of the body for balance.  Do not raise head and feet extremely high, because this will force the weight on the **** instead of having the abs do the work.  instead, stretch your body out while engaging the use of your muscles when you hold this pose.  Hold the pose for a full 10 seconds.  Then turn to one side and hold the pose for a full 10 seconds.  Then turn back to the middle and hold for a full 10 seconds, and to the other side for a full ten seconds.  I guarantee you wil feel this burn!</description>
