Stamina ATS Air Rowing Machine Review
Rowing on a Stamina ATS Air Rowing Machine has to be one of the best ways to get into really good shape. A few years ago, Forbes magazine rated rowing as the second best fitness sport, just behind squash, and just ahead of rock climbing. It’s low impact, non weight bearing and rarely produces injuries.
Whether your sculling in the water, or on a Stamina ATS Air Rowing Machine, you’ll get the same physical benefits. Most dedicated rowers end up being both skinny and strong. It’s just their kind of build.
The Stamina ATS has the dual benefit of not taking up much room, (by being foldable when not in use) and capable of plenty of abuse thanks to it’s durable construction. I’d been looking for a low impact exercise to help my conditioning, as my favorite sport squash tends to be very high impact. Spending time on a rowing machine, is a great way to train in the off season by building up my cardio, and dropping weight at the same time.
The Stamina ATS Air Rowing Machine provides a full body workout. All the major muscle groups are put to work. You back, arms, legs, buttocks, and abs all get into the action with this rower. The seat is contoured as well, so as your workouts get longer, you’ll feel more comfortable.
If you goal oriented like me, it’s nice to have the electronics to keep track of the numbers, and let you know that your getting stronger. The LCD monitor will give you all the vital statistics, including total strokes, strokes per minute, calories, speed, time etc etc.
While I’d rather be playing squash than training on any machine, the Stamina ATS Air Rowing Machine is one of my favorites for putting in that much needed off court conditioning.
