eat 1200 calories a day.
go to the gym 6 days a week (treadmill, bike, rowing machine)
1 hour 7 days a week
light weight lifting 5 times a week
drink lots of water
do you think following a vegan diet will help me with only consuming 1200 cal a day? it’s no trouble for me because i prefer a vegan diet anyway.
so anyway, how does this plan sound. is there anything i should maybe change, or is there anything i can improve on? anything will help
thank you
thats a one hour WALK 7 days a week
sorry

i’m 16 and i weight about 130 pounds, it’s my height that unproportional-ize my body; i’m about 5 foot 4..

i’m doing a project on anorexia in school and need to know some answers!
exercising all parts of your body in the gym (running machine, rowing machine, exercise bike etc) + a low calorie diet
or
just running + a low calorie diet?
does muscle eventually burn away if you keep exercising with a low calorie diet?
thanks guys! x

I’m 48 and out of shape. Doctor advised me to lose weight (5’9″ ~ Weight = 226) with diet and exercise. For the last month I have been eating about 1,600 calories/day. I have been working out with weights and doing cardio (rowing machine & treadmill) with a measurable calories used from cardio of about 200-350 calories/day x 5 days/week.
The doctor told me that one pound = 3,500 calories. Am I on the right track? Do I need to increase my cardio to burn more calories/day? Do I need to decrease my calorie comsumption lower than 1600 calories/day?
When I began one month ago my weight was 232 pounds and now I am at 226 pounds. Is there anything else that I can do to lose more rapidly. I find that now, 1600 calories/day is OK but I really have a hard time falling short of that and not be hungry.
What low calorie foods should I consume to improve nutrition and consume a greater bulk so as not to be hungry? what about meds 2.?
Any advice that you might give would be appreciated!

How can I get a good cardio workout without using my legs? I have a really bad shin splint from playing tennis and I want to rest it as much as possible until it’s completely healed. In the meantime, I’d like to still get some cardio workouts in? I thought of a rowing machine but my gym doesn’t have any…
Thanks in advance

I would like to find a dance-exercise routine to burn alot of calories. I am very active (1 hr or more aerobic exercise 6 days/wk, str training 3 days/wk) and I would like a fun workout to alternate with my cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, and bike). Looking for a program that shows the moves clearly and can teach the moves before doing the dances. Can be Hip Hop, Top 40, Pop, or Country, I don’t really care, as long as it is fun and burns the calories

I have lost 25 lbs since July, and have 10 more to my goal of 125

I have been running, biking, lots of cardio, and some free weights in order to do this. I am having some trouble getting the last ten off though and I know it’s bc my body is used to my routines now. SO I need some new ideas.
I was thinking the rowing machine, resistance machines, and maybe start jump training. any good ideas for me to mix it up? thanks

I starting lifting a week ago for the first time. Im 5 foot 10 and weight about 136. I can lift on a seated rowing machine 140. And the machine were you pull a weight from over your head I can do about 115. Is this good? How much should I increase the weights when I go to the gym?

I have taken 6 kg since we moved around two years ago and I am desesperately trying to loose them but cannot. I stopped the gym (I was really fit and muscular before) and bought a runner and rowing machine hoping to replace the gym by that at home, but everytime I want to go on it I have something else to do. Tried to wake up early but could not keep up and tried to do it late but too tired in the evening. I also know I eat too much junk and cannot stop it, it is a bit like a addiction! I was 20 years ago 30 kilos more and I am really afraid to go back there. Any ideas how to get back on track knowing that I have no family or friends down here to help me. It is more difficult for me to keep up without their help or withouth going to the gym with a friend. Any ideas of how to loose this weights healthily in around 2 to 3 months???
Thanks so much for your help.
